Damn, it's been almost 3 years since I last updated this site. Where did all the time go? Every moment is slipping through my fingers like grains of sand! To make things worse, I'm about to be 35 in a month! I've reached unc status!

I guess I should say that I never really forgot about this site and had always intended to update it. I've always been a bit dissatisfied by how it looked and wanted to rebuild it from the ground up. I always meant to add a gallery of old drawings, photos, and do more bloggy updates, but didn't really want to do it until I had the site looking exactly how I wanted. I mean, for starters, this website really doesn't need a landing page. It should just go directly to this page when you type the URL. Idk why I made it that way.

Ultimately, I just got distracted by Twitter and the Fediverse as well as getting caught with IRL obligations. You know how it goes! A tale as old as time!

But before I wrap this up, I should mention that created a forum called The Azucat Empire! I made it partially out of frustration towards the modern social media algorithm-based internet and to re-create the fun times I had using forums as a teenager. There are still many forums out there online, but this one is mine! Anyways, check it out!

Figured it's about time I put on actual news update on here especially since I've been updating the site more frequently. To start, the About section has been filled out more thoroughly and with something that isn't placeholder text. I've also merged the Contact section with the About page just to keep things less redundant. We got a music player to the main page just to make the site a little more comfy. Many of the tracks are pretty nostalgic for me, so hopefully you like them, too! I plan to get the Sketches archive up and running and finally get a first entry on the Cooking section here in the near future. So look forward to that! Currently, trying to mess with the look of the website, so it'll look weird from time to time. I can never get this place to look just how I want it!
